Relying Totally On God.

         As we move into a new year still not finished building the house and falling further behind the struggle to give up is strong. So the question is do we give up our calling for full time ministry and go back to the grind of living to work so we can live in comfort and have security according to the times or do we keep a strong faith and relines on God. Just like the twelve disciples I have left my all consuming job of 22 years to follow my calling to work for God. Some may say I’m crazy and look down on me for living the way that I do and give up all to go into ministry. I’m not crazy as for me it has become a new journy and challenge to trust and rely on God and not my self of my own under standing. When Jesus first sent out the twelve he had given the instruction in Matthew 10: 9-10 “9Do not take along any gold or silver or copper in your belts; 10take no bag for the journey, or extra tunic, or sandals or a staff; for the worker is worth his keep.” are we not workers for God and need to give control over to him. Do we read the Bible and say God love us greater then the lilies if the field as in Matthew 6:28-30 but leave out Matthew 6:31-34.

     28"And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? 31So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' 32For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

       Chapter after chapter we are told what we should not worry about and trust in the Lord God.

        Every day my faith is tested and I struggle with the lack of as my mine tells me to give up my sprit tell me to stand firm and the Lord God will provide. Each day I need to be aware of the blessing that God had given me and give glory to God for then, it dos not a matter big or small it is God that had sent them all. One of the largest blessings that I have received is the joy I get when I’m teaching Gods word and even better yet is when He aloes me to teach from horse back.

Ask your self in what ways do you not trust God to take care of you. Are you holding back on what God wants you to do.
Spend some time in the book of PSALMS them pray about it.

A Decision To Be Made.

      A Decision To Be Made.

               This week we had to make the decision to put down the old stud Scooter. Scooter had been with us for a long time, he had become apart of our family and our way of life. He had father a good number of foals including Rocky witch we are standing at stud now. Even though we had Rocky we still held on to Scooter after he could not breed any more. After all he was family he was apart of us. But today the diction had to be made to let him go.
 
            As Christians when we find the Lord Jesus Christ we still have the old man inside of us and we don’t let him go. We will at one point have to make a decision to let him go and it can be hard. After all it is a part of our life it defines who we are. But just like our old stud Scooter we have been give a gift to replace him though the blood of Jesus. It may be a process that can be difficult but though prayer and spending more time with God we too can let the old man go.
