You no doubt are saying to your self what does that statement “First Americans First.”
Well I answer that be saying I am part Native American my self. I was born and raised on the Choctaw Nation, which is located in the south eastern part of Oklahoma. We lived eleven miles from the Choctaw Nation Council House, which is like Washington D.C. to the Choctaw Nation. When we talk about Native Americans we are saying that they were here first when Columbus discovered America.
It is true that all Americans who have served under the grate flag the red, white and blue; and say “We are proud to be Americans and to be part of the grate and mighty U.S.A.”
President George W. Bush has clearly stated that we as a free nation “Under God” we will do all that we can to free other nations controlled by terrorism. Many Native Americans have enlisted in the Armed Forces t preserve our freedom. I am referring to the Navajo Code Talkers who severed in World War II. They were effective in helping us win the war against Japan. Many of those Navajo service men believed in God and their descendents are taking responsibilities in their homes and communities. They are taking God at his word where it is written God will keep his word as it is written in II Peter 3:9 “ The Lord is not slack according to his promise, as some men count slackness, but is long-suffering to us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” My parting words would be, “I will see you here, there, or in the air when Jesus comes for His own.” Turn your eyes upon Jesus, look full in His wonderful face and the things of this world will grow strangely dim in the light of his glory and grace! HAPPY TRAILS until we meat again.
