This week we had to make the decision to put down the old stud Scooter. Scooter had been with us for a long time, he had become apart of our family and our way of life. He had fathered a good number of foals including Rocky witch we are standing at stud now. Even though we had Rocky we still held on to Scooter after he could not breed any more. After all he was family he was apart of us. But today the Decision had to be made to let him go.
            As Christians when we find the Lord Jesus Christ we still have the old man inside of us and we don’t let him go. We will at one point have to make a decision to let him go and it can be hard. After all it is a part of our life it defines who we are. But just like our old stud Scooter we have been give a gift to replace him though the blood of Jesus. It may be a process that can be difficult but though prayer and spending more time with God we too can let the old man go. 2 Corinthians 5:17 (N.I.V.) 17Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!
