Here at New Life Ranch we like to teach about our relationship with horses in conjunction with our relationship with God.

 The horse is marvelous animal created by God, powerful and majestic, capable of doing many tasks. Before we can use this horse for any task that we desire, we first need to teach the horse to do the work at hand. First the horse need to learn that we have authority over him, as this authority has been given to use by God Genesis 1:28, but our authority is not enough, we need the horse to trust us. With this trust the horse does not respond to our commands out of fear, but out of faith that we shall not bring harm to him. The horse then starts to rely on us for guidance, his care and wellbeing. In return he is faithful to the one who has authority over him and trusts him with his life.
